Incense blends and sage fumigation
Everything about incense blends
Incense blends consist of several incense materials. The mixtures are made from resins, herbs, blossoms, woods etc.. This creates a completely new smell. The effects also change with the mixing of the ingredients.
Can I make incense blends myself?
A personal incense blend usually feels different from a bought incense blend. You mix your own desired ingredients and perceive the smell quite differently.
Incense blends are easy to make. You only need two Things:
-Mortar and pestle (or other tools suitable for grinding).
-Smoking materials, i.e. herbs, woods, resins, flowers, etc.
Step 1: Choose your favourite ingredients to mix together. Pay attention to the effects of the herbs, blossoms, resins etc.. The ingredients should also be sufficiently dried.
Step 2: Grind the ingredients individually with a mortar and pestle.
Step 3: Put the ground ingredients into a container. When mixing, make sure that the proportions are right. Slowly work your way up to your own perfect mixture.
Step 4: Now you can smoke your mixture on a stove or directly on the charcoal.
