Viking shoes reversibly sewn after a find in Jorvik - Red
Do you attach great importance to authenticity when portraying yourself as a Viking? Then you've come to the right place with these reversible shoes! In the production of these shoes, we have taken special attention to the authentic manufacturing of the shoes. They are made of high-quality, sturdy and robust genuine leather. The underside of the leather is very soft and is very compatible with your own skin.
They are dyed by hand, so there is no machine process involved in the dyeing process.
The reversible shoes were made after a find, which can be admired today in the Museum of London. Very similar reversible shoes were also found in Haithabu and Jorvik (York). The shoes are therefore particularly well suited to represent the period from the 9th to the 11th century.
-Made of high quality cowhide leather
-Red coloured
-Authentic manufacture
About the colour:
The shoes are dyed with a high quality red leather dye and given a finish when dry. The shoe is then greased to maintain the leather.
About the size:
The shoes usually conform to your usual street shoe size. If you are wavering between two sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller size.
Leather still stretches a little with time of use and gets bigger accordingly.
