late medieval high bucket boots natural 15th century
Late medieval bucket top boots in natural brown with three leather straps and brass buckle replicas.
The leather on top is very rugged.
Made of vegetal tanned cowhide.
The sole is nailed to the upper leather for a very rugged construction and extra thick leather soles.
The shoes are high boots and they end underknee.
Upper leather thickness: approximately 3mm
You find shoes like them on late medieval paintings and findings but high bucket boots have been worn until the 18th century.
Picture 4 shows a coloring example made by us with VM001912 and VM001916 with a finsih VM001940.
We recommend ordering them 1 size smaller then usual as the leather stretches during greasing and wearing them.
