The murder axe with hammer head is a historical weapon from the 14th-16th centuries and is ideal for re-enactment and collectors.

Poleaxes like these are wide spread and good documented during the late medieval era 14th-16th century.
It is similar to a halberd but instead of a thorn as counterpart to the axeblade it has a hammer head.
