Description

Early medieval drawstring shoes with rubber sole for kids

Early medieval drawstring shoes made of one piece of leather reinforced by a 2mm rubber sole.

This type of shoe was worn from the ancient roman era until early medieval times. Our model is made after a germanic finding from the 6th century in Oberflacht.

We decided to reinforce the drawstring shoe with a rubber sole to make it resilient to modern surfaces.

Due to its manufacturing they are flexible in size but normally it is your actual street shoe size or a size smaller that fits well.
