Viking knife made of damask steel with leather sheath
This beautifully crafted Viking knife is handmade from 256 layers of Damascus steel and sharpened. The wooden handle was wrapped with a brass wire in a small recess in the middle, which makes the knife a beautiful eye-catcher. The clamps were also made of brass.
The impressive sheath was made of vegetable tanned leather, which was richly decorated with fittings. The fittings are not only used for decoration, but also protect the leather from damage. For the attachment on the belt 2 carrying rings, 1 strap distributor and 3 leather straps were attached, which position the knife in the scabbard so optimally on the belt, that a pulling out of the knife in the best angle is possible.
