Viking fibula from Birka, in bronze or silver
This beautiful Viking fibula was made after an original find of the 10th century from the Viking settlement Birka (Sweden).
It is assumed that this fibula was used to attach keys, scissors or needle boxes to the garment. However, it embellishes the garment even without any use.
The fibulas are available in bronze or silver plated. On the back a stable needle was attached.
