Short sax with bone handle
This sax knife is a reconstruction of a typical early medieval short sax knife, as it was popular among various Germanic tribes. They were not used exclusively as a weapon, but also served as a multi-purpose knife.
The parry consists of two steel disks that fix the horn plate in the middle by means of rivets. The handle is made of bone, while the pommel is made of steel.
