High medieval secret helmet II made of 2mm thick steel - battle ready
This high medieval secret helmet was worn under a pot- or visor helmet or simple textile headgear during tournaments. During "normal" fights these helmets were taken off. Here the protection remained and one had an unrestricted field of vision.
This secret helmet was made of 2mm thick steel. It consists of 3 parts, which are riveted together. For an easy attachment of an own chain-bell, drillings were attached at the side and behind at the helmet edge.
For the attachment a high-quality and size-adjustable leather inlay with chinstrap was bordered.
