Roller lock / nut for historical crossbows, various sizes
This replacement nut is made of steel and can be used for our medieval crossbows. The core of a roll closure is the nut, which fixes the string with its hook-like formation. Before this closure existed, a simple notch was worked into the crossbow where the string was hooked until it was pushed back out for firing.
