Incense resin - Myrrh
Myrrh has been known among us for a very long time. It was already used by the ancient Egyptians for mummification. It is also mentioned several times in the Bible. There are very detailed records by ancient scribes about the use of myrrh.
When smoked, it can have a calming effect, but it should only be smoked when you are in a good mood, as it can keep your spirits up. If you are sad or similar, it can be rather counterproductive. Myrrh is not usually smoked alone, but mixed with other herbs, woods or resins.
It smells spicy-tart to earthy and is best smoked directly on the incense charcoal.
