Nasal helmet "St. Wencelass" made of 2mm thick steel - battle ready
This beautifully worked nasal helmet is a replica of the so-called Wenceslas helmet, after a find in Prague from the 10th century.
Helmets of this type were usually worn with a bonnet underneath.
The helmet consists of 2 halves of 2mm thick steel, which were welded together.
The nasal was made of 3mm thick steel band and riveted to the helmet.
A high-quality, size-adjustable and padded inlay and chinstrap made of leather was attached to the head.
