Medieval leather breastplate or brigantine
This medieval breastplate (or from Brigantine called) was made of 2mm thick vegetable tanned leather. It was additionally reinforced with small leather plates, which were fixed with brass rivets. Material and construction not only provide for a good freedom of movement, but also for a good look.
At the back there are leather straps and buckles, with which you can close the breastplate in an adjustable size.
