Leather Torso Armour with Front Lacing

Leather armor / breastplate with front lacing

This breastplate was made of vegetable tanned leather in several parts. The single leather pieces were sewn together in a stable way.

The front and the back of the armour were tied together at the shoulders with punched rivets and a ribbon. The front part was also tied in the middle. The breastplate can be adjusted very well to the respective size due to its lacings at the sides, shoulders and middle. 

It is perfectly suited for the representation of numerous fictional and historical models.
