Late medieval pants of the 15th century with cords
These trousers are made of a wool blend fabric (min. 85% wool) and an inner lining of 100% linen. White nestle cords were brought along. The pubic bib, which existed up to modern times (see for example the Tracht leather trousers), is closed on both sides with a nestle cord in two nest holes on the trouser legs.
The shown cords are included in the delivery.
Furthermore, the trousers have 6 points on the waistband, each of which has two aglet holes to lace the trousers to a belt or doublet. The aglet holes fit for example to our doublets VM002452, VM002453, VM002454.
Please note that the trousers do not have a button or similar to close the waistband, because in those days the trousers were held by the cords.
