Late medieval fork bone handle
Iron Fork twisted of wire, the handle is forged flat and than the fork is hardened. This form of fork was used by all ages and was known even earlier among the Celts. The fork was for Christians, in the high and late Middle Ages, was frowned upon as the devil's work and especially north of the Alps used only as kitchen tool.
