Late medieval boots with buckles made after 14th-15th century models
This dark brown buckled boot was made from one piece of leather. The upper leather has only one butt seam on the calf. The two brass buckles round off the very handsome overall picture of this shoe model.
The boots have already been dyed dark brown. The long leather strap, which closes the shoe around the calf, allows an almost continuous adjustment to the leg. The short strap over the instep provides the necessary hold on the foot.
