Gothic bell made of 1,6mm thick steel
Replica of a gothic sallet of around 1495 AD.
The original is exhibited in Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and has been made by the German armourer Lorenz Helmschmied, , the armourer of the emporer Maximilian I.
The neck guard is firmly attached to the helmet and has a hinged visor which can be locked by means of locks.
The slit of the visor has a lattice in front of the eyes on the inside, which can be cut off with a side cutter if you do not like it.
The helmet has no padding inside!
