Gambeson with linen blend fabric buttons in black
Protective and dressy at the same time comes our Gambeson Greifenfels.
Gambesons are textile pieces of armor, which consisted of filled linen. It was worn by knights under their armor or chain mail, or by simple militia solo. It was used until it was gradually replaced by the brigantine in the 15th century.
Since the gambeson is closed with buttons, which appeared in Central Europe only in the 13th century, we recommend this gambeson only from this period.
