Morion helmet with french lily of the 16th century made of 1,6mm thick steel
This helmet is a replica of the Morion helmet of the 16th century. They were worn by unmounted lansquenets and pikemen, later also by city guards and bodyguards. The soldiers of the Swiss Guard of the Vatican still meet Morion helmets today.
The helmet was made of 1.6 mm thick steel and painted matt black. The comb has an uncolored stripe and at the front and back left free places in form of a French lily.
For the attachment on the head a comfortable, height-adjustable leather inlet and chinstrap was attached, which can be individually adapted to the head. The leather inlet was riveted into the helmet with decorative brass rivets.
