Belt with late medieval buckle, fittings and end Fitting
Medieval belt with late medieval buckle and end fitting, which was made according to a historical model, one of which belonged to the Danish King Erik of Pomerania and dates to the period 1450. The original buckle was made of gilded silver and bore the inscription "Help goth un Maria nu altit" (God and Mary be our help always).
The Viking belt was made of 3.0 mm - 3.5 mm thick cowhide, is about 3 cm wide and decorated with an embossed line along the sides.
The high quality brass buckle bears an inscription that translates to "God and Mario be our help always". The ornate brass hardware makes the belt look very classy. The brass end fitting ensures that the part of the belt that hangs down does not roll up.
