Viking pants or rus pants made of cotton, dark blue
These Viking pants are made of cotton and are comfortable to wear. It has been cut very wide at the thighs, whereas the calves are narrow and taper down progressively. The narrow part can be wrapped over with calf wraps. The waistband has a drawstring waistband incl. band, which can be adjusted individually. Small slits at the hem increase the freedom of movement. In addition, trouser pockets were brought in, in which small things like money and keys can be easily stored.
These rus pants are based on models of the Rus Vikings from the approx. 8th - 11th century. It is assumed that the Rus were originally Scandinavian or Swedish Vikings who entered Slavic-influenced Eastern Europe via the Baltic Sea and settled there as traders. Pictorial evidence of such harem pants can be found, for example, on the picture stones of Gotland (Broa, ca. 8th century).

||Waist size approx.
Since this garment runs very large, we recommend ordering one size smaller. Garb in the Middle Ages was generally wide and loose cut, as well as this garment. This is intentional, as it creates a characteristic medieval look.
