Viking knife with damask steel blade and wood/bone handle
This beautifully crafted Viking knife is handmade from 256 layers of Damascus steel and sharpened. The handle was made of wood and bone, with a decorative knot pattern in the bone. The ferrule and the end cap are made of brass with an eyelet and a band.
The impressive scabbard was made of vegetable tanned leather, which was richly decorated with fittings. For the attachment to the belt, 2 carrying rings, 1 strap distributor and 3 leather straps were attached, which position the knife in the scabbard so optimally on the belt that the knife can be pulled out at the best angle.
