Rapier / Korbrapier of the 16th century
In the 16th century, the rapier was a very popular weapon among duelists. To a large extent, however, the rapier was also used for civilian purposes.
This korbrapier is made of a hardened, blunt carbon steel blade. The blade is tapered and has a pointed end.
The magnificent handle basket is made of steel and lined with velvet. The handle is wrapped with a piece of wire.
The sword scabbard is made of leather-wrapped wood and features a metal place and mouth plate.
