Very tightly woven, with their heavy quality and naturally preserved wool grease, these sleeping bags are extremely thermally insulating. Even a small rain shower can't harm you, as the water simply rolls off the blanket.
The manufacture
It is made from pure sheep's wool from mountain sheep in the region. The wool is washed exclusively in spring water, so the natural, valuable lanolin (fat) is not washed out. The lanolin ensures that the sleeping bag is dirt-resistant and almost waterproof.
They are made authentically, just like in the Middle Ages: with the hand-spun wool, they are made on wooden looms. As a loom only has a certain width, the blankets and sleeping bags are hand-sewn together from 2-3 individual pieces.
The wool is not chemically dyed or otherwise treated, so they are far from chemical ingredients.
