Scottish broadsword with brass hilt
This specimen is a replica of a typical Scottish broadsword, also called claymore. The sword originally dates back to 1828.
The hand-forged, single-edged blade is made of carbon steel and has two grooves. Very decorative is the solid brass basket and the wooden sheath made of wood and covered with leather.
