Medieval doublet or Pourpoint made of cotton, red
This medieval waistcoat (also called Pourpoint) was made of heavy cotton fabric and is lightly lined. The sleeves can be dated to the 16th century. Depending on the wealth of the wearer, they were either plain or richly decorated and the quality of the fabric also varied accordingly.
Our vest offers the possibility to attach pants to the lower hem.
