Pingsdorf jug form the 11th century, 1.3 Liters
This medieval jug or also called Pingsdorf jug was made after an original, which is dated to the year 1200.
The jug is made of built-up pottery and was made by hand on the potter's wheel. This jug is a so-called stoneware, which means that it is sintered by high firing temperature. This makes it waterproof and food safe.
