Pingsdorf Cup from the 12th century, 0.35 Liters

This medieval cup, also called Pingsdorf cup, was made after an original, which dates back to the 12th century.
The cup is made of built-up pottery and was produced by hand on the potter's wheel. It is a so-called stoneware, i.e. it is sintered by high firing temperature. This makes it waterproof and food safe.
