Pointed Morion helmet made of 1.3 mm thick steel
This lace Morion helmet was worn in the 16th century and evolved from the kettle.
They were worn by unmounted lansquenets and pikemen, later also by city guards and bodyguards. The soldiers of the Vatican's Swiss Guard still wear Morion helmets today.
The helmet was made of 1.3mm thick steel.
For the attachment on the head a comfortable, height-adjustable leather inlet and a chinstrap were worked in, which were fastened by means of rivets.
