North Italian Barbute around 1465 made of 1.6 mm thick steel - battle ready
This helmet is an authentic reproduction of a late medieval Barbute helmet. The original is exhibited today in the Muse de l'Arme, Paris. It bears an embossing stamp of the Lombard city of Missaglia and was most likely made there between 1460 and 1470.
He was handmade from 1.6 mm thick steel. It has the same slender cut, the highly pronounced comb and the ornate rivets as the original.
