Norman buckle helmet from 1.6mm thick steel
This Norman buckle helmet is a reconstruction from the 10th and 11th century. They were especially popular with Vikings and Normans.
It was made of 1.6mm thick steel. The two halves of the helmet were welded tightly together.
The nasal was made of 4mm strong steel and is therefore very robust.
The 4 band fittings were riveted on the helmet and strengthen the helmet additionally.
It also has a riveted, high-quality, adjustable padding inlet and a robust leather chinstrap with brass buckle.
