Medieval shoes dark brown with toggle closure. The sole is made of rubber, which ensures a longer life. Unlike leather soles, rubber soles wear through less quickly.
Finds of these late medieval half boots are in many museums. There are also similar shoe finds from earlier times. Among other things, this type of shoe is also found in the work "Shoes and Patterns" by Francis Grew and Margarethe de Neergaard and is dated there to 1100-1450.
