Medieval rawhide Lantern

A rawhide lantern conjures up a warm atmosphere in just a few steps. Especially outside at night, the soft light brings a cozy mood.
It is handmade from wood and rawhide. Consisting of a lower plate with feet, in which 8 wooden rods go up, where it then ends with the upper ring. All around the rawhide is stretched and attached to the lower plate and upper ring by means of nails.
The candle is placed in the inner spout provided for this purpose. In the grommet is a spike, which holds the candle from possible tipping over. The extra long handle allows you to pull out the inner spout to light the candle and then put it down again without any worries.
