This late medieval lantern was made of brass, the flap door was covered with rawhide leather. A ring was attached to the top of the lantern, from which it can be hung. In addition, a handle was attached to which it can easily be carried.
There are holes in the brass, whereby the candlelight shines out in the form of dots and creates a cosy atmosphere.
