Late medieval armour of Churburg made of 1.6 mm steel
This armour is a reconstruction of an armour from Churburg, South Tyrol. The original is dated to the year around 1360.
It consists of 9 driven steel parts, which are riveted with leather straps. Due to this the armour is movable and adapts to the movements of the body. Like the original, our replica has a brass border and a "V" on the middle of the chest.
For the attachment on the back 2 leather straps incl. buckles were attached, which can be individually adapted to the wearer.
