Knights Templar sword (Militaris Templi), show fighting sword, SK-B, incl. sheath

This Templar sword has a hardened blade made of spring steel, tempered to approx. 48-50 HRC. It is decorated with the inscription MILITARIS TEMPLI on one side and three paw crosses on the reverse side. The sword is forged through to the riveted pommel at the end of the hilt,. The distinctive gouge extends almost to the tip; this provides elasticity and lightness when in use.

Between the guard and the steel disc pommel, which has a temple cross engraving on both sides, is the leather-wrapped wooden handle. The scabbard, made of wood and covered with leather, is equipped with a carrying strap wrapped around the scabbard.

The blunt, 2mm thick striking edges and rounded tip make this medieval knight's sword a good choice for exhibition combat or sparring.
