German Klappvisor bascinet with visor 14th century made of 2mm thick steel - battle ready
This Klappvisor bascinet is a replica of a find from around 1370, the original is now exhibited in the Valeria Musem in Sitten, Switzerland. The pelvic bonnet developed in the early 14th century from the cerebral hood.
The helmet was handcrafted and welded from 2mm thick steel and is very robust.
The visor is foldable and can be removed completely.
For the attachment on the head, a comfortable, padded cloth inlet was riveted inside.
The brass rivets on the sides should be used to attach your own chain well.
