German Sallet around 1480 made of 1.6mm thick steel - battle ready
This Sallet is a reconstruction true to the original from around 1480.
It was made of 1.6mm thick steel. The visor is lockable in the lowest step by a thorn.
A very comfortable leather inlay and a chinstrap made of leather including buckle were attached for the attachment on the head.
