Our Gambeson Donnergrund is protective and attractive at the same time.

Gambesons are textile pieces of armour, which are made of filled linen. It was worn by knights under the armour.
It was used until the 15th century, when it was gradually replaced by the brigantine.

Since the gambeson is closed with buttons, which only appeared in Central Europe in the 13th century, we recommend this gambeson only from this time onwards.
