For decades now, Lynn C. Thompson has used his scarce 'free' time to travel the world and test products while hunting and fishing. Each model in the series is made of 4116 steel, sharpened to razor sharpness, and can be easily resharpened on the job or in the field. All handles are made of a stiff, durable Zy-Ex™core and a softer, food-safe Kray-Ex™outer layer that provides a comfortable, non-slip grip even during hours of use.

Stainless 4116 knife steel
4116 steel is a fine-grained, stainless knife steel. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and for high quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon to chromium ratio provides both premium rust protection and great strength. Very fine, extremely sharp cutting edges are sharpenable. An excellent choice for outdoor / hunting knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
