English Sallet from Coventry made of 2 mm thick steel - battle ready

This reproduction of an English sallet, which is fully suitable for show, is very similar to the Italian sallets. However, they differ from their continental relatives by their pointed tip and the higher helmet comb. They were mainly worn by knights and mercenaries.
The original of the Converty Schaller is now in The Herbert - Art Gallery and Museum in Coventry and is dated 1460.

It was made of 2 mm thick steel and also has a very sophisticated lock to lock the visor.
To attach it to the head, a padded fabric layer was riveted into the helmet and a chinstrap including buckle was attached.
