Late medieval plate shoulders Churburg made of 1 mm steel - burnished
These plate shoulders were modelled on pieces from the armoury of the Churburg, South Tyrol. The armour of the Churburg was made by the Plattner workshops of Milan and Innsbruck.
The plates were made of 1 mm thick steel and are attached to e.g. a Gameson by means of a size-adjustable leather strap around the biceps and at the upper end with a nestle cord.
