Chainmail shirt or Haubergeon made of wedge-riveted and punched flat rings, Ø 8 mm
This chainmail shirt or Haubergeon consists of 2 types of rings. One row was made of riveted round rings, the next of punched flat rings. Also in the Middle Ages chain skirts, chain shirts etc. were made in this way, because it was not so time-consuming and still is.
The name "Haubergeon" is given to this chainmail shirt, because it is a half to short sleeved chainmail shirt, which reaches straight to the thigh.
