Chainmail collar (bishop's collar) made of riveted rings, ō 8mm
This chainmail collar (or bishop's collar) consists of flat rings throughout. Each individual ring was closed with round rivet heads. The braiding is 4 in 1.
At the neck 2 size-adjustable leather straps were riveted on, which facilitate putting on and taking off.
It should serve to protect the neck, shoulders, upper chest and back. It was already popular in the 15 - 16th century.
