Chainmail coif made of riveted and punched flat rings (wedge rivets), ō 8mm
This chainmail coif consists of 2 types of rings. One row was made of riveted rings, the next of punched rings. Also in the Middle Ages chain skirts, chain shirts etc. were made in this way, because it was not and still is not so time-consuming.
Riveting with wedge rivets did not appear until the late Middle Ages, which is why this chain mail bonnet is well suited for depicting the late Middle Ages.
It completely covers the shoulder and has a square face cutout. We recommend wearing a padded arming cap underneath.
