Medieval Birka cup form the 9th and 10th century, 0.4 Liters
This medieval cup, or Birka cup, was made after an original, which dates back to the 9th and 10th centuries.
The mug is made of ceramic and was made by hand on the potter's wheel. It is a so-called stoneware, i.e. it is sintered by high firing temperature. This makes it waterproof and food safe.
