Banded kettle hat, 14th century, made of 1,6mm thick steel - battle ready
This solid Banded kettle hat is a replica from the 14th century. This type of helmet was in use in Central and Northern Europe from about the middle of the 14th to the 15th century.
It was made of 1.6mm thick steel and was additionally reinforced with steel bands, which makes it suitable for show fighting.
A comfortable leatherlay and a chinstrap with buckle were incorporated for the attachment on the head.
