Chainmail sleeve made of riveted and punched flat rings, ō 8 mm
This chainmail sleeve consists of 2 types of rings. One row was made of riveted flat rings (round rivets), the next of punched rings. Also in the Middle Ages chain skirts, chain shirts etc. were made in this way, because it was not so time-consuming and still is, since only every second ring has to be riveted.
This kind of chainmail sleeve protectors were used in the late Middle Ages and were mainly sewn or attached to the clothing.
They are therefore well suited for the representation of the late Middle Ages.
One order corresponds to 2 chainmail sleeve.
