Very tailored, thick and sturdy arming cap padded with wool and double sewed collar. You must have this under the helmet or chainmail and the sewed collar made the wearing from an goatee, from pauldron or an hauberk essential comfortabler and safer. The collar has a stabil leather strap with buckle on the front side for resize. On the shoulders are two revited leather straps for affixing of Pauldron or arm stuff. This Coif is very well cut and sits therefore perfect, as shown on the picture. Through the processed wool instead the often used plastic foam, you sweat a lot less.

This Coif is made especially for us, according to our specifications.

By these hats our manufacturer has unfortunately made a mistake and they are stored too close and wet. By drying they get deformed and have begun to mould a little bit, before it were noticed. The various deformations and discolorations you can see on picture 2-4

Of course they can also wear as they are. But you should make them wet, brush them and give them the form you want to have. After this you have to dry them on a airy place. By the wrong storage they got according to our opinion a substantilly more interesting color. This is more natural than the usually available bleached hats. Since the effort is too high for us, so we offer the hats now at a bargain price.

These hats were worn in bulk period in the middle ages and can be used differently, such as a pilgrim hat or a soldier hat.
Delivery is unformed, the hat can be shaped at will. Keep his form very well when you were shaped with steam.
